Doctoral Students’ Association (ADCESR)

The Doctoral Students’ Association of the CESR (ADCESR) was created in 2016 on the initiative of the Centre’s doctoral students in order to provide a forum for the presentation and valorisation of the work of young researchers, and to strengthen the ties between students of the Centre —an initiative supported by Paul-Alexis Mellet and now by Laurent Gerbier, faculty members in the fields of history and philosophy, respectively.
Every year the Association organises a number of events open to all, with the encouragement of the pedagogical committees and the administration of the CESR.

  • Start-of-year meeting and welcome of new doctoral students
  • Tutorial workshops with Masters students.
  • Various scholarly activities (seminars, the history encounters at Blois, etc.)
  • Multi-disciplinary doctoral conferences
